Michael Harvey

Chief Executive Officer - CareerOne.com.au

Mr Harvey was appointed to the role of Chief Executive of CareerOne.com.au in May 2009, having held the role of Chief Operating Officer from September 2006.

Mr Harvey began his career at Pannell Kerr Forster, Chartered Accountants. After a stint with Arthur Andersen, he joined News Limited in 1995 as Special Projects Manager and was part of the team who launched Foxtel.

In 1996, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Fox Studios Australia, where he played an integral role in the development of the studio and the public entertainment areas. In 2001, he was promoted to the role of Chief Executive and took responsibility for expanding the film studio and helped attract numerous blockbuster productions including The Matrix trilogy, Star Wars Episodes II and II and Superman Returns.

Mr Harvey holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
