Foxtix Launches Online Gift Certificates

Chief executive officer of Foxtix, Adam McArthur, today announced that consumers can now purchase and redeem gift vouchers from the Foxtix website.

This makes Foxtix the only major ticketing provider offering gift certificates that can be redeemed online and removes the need for customers to head to a ticketing outlet to physically redeem a voucher.

Mr McArthur said that the launch of Foxtix gift certificates further reinforced the company’s reputation as a ticketing provider that offers flexibility.
“At Foxtix, we pride ourselves in creating change in the market.

To be the first major ticketing provider to launch gift vouchers that are redeemable online as well as over the phone means consumers now have choice when it comes to how they want to purchase tickets.

“The great thing about Foxtix gift vouchers is that it gives consumers more than just a gift, but through our events an experience to remember,” he said.

“As a company known for its firsts, including being the first ticketing provider to implement payments through PayPal, offering seat selection options for consumers and leading the way in our use of anti-scalping methods, I’m proud to announce another of our pioneering ticketing initiatives to the market.”

Available in $25, $50 and $100 denominations, the gift vouchers can be purchased and redeemed online and over the phone for all Foxtix events.
Consumers can purchase the vouchers by clicking on the newly created ‘Gift store’ tab on Foxtix’s main page.

Consumers are able to use multiple vouchers in the one purchase order.
If the voucher does not cover their order amount, customers also have the option of splitting payment between vouchers, credit card or PayPal.

Vouchers are delivered as a PDF via email.
Foxtix’s announcement follows News Ticketing’s recent feat as the first major ticketing company to implement PayPal across both the Moshtix and Foxtix websites.
