News Digital Media invests in RECRUITadvantage

News Digital Media today announced its investment in web-based recruitment solutions company, RECRUITadvantage.
RECRUITadvantage provides innovative software applications that assist recruitersand HR professionals to build their employer brand online and effectively manage their recruitment processes.

Established in 2003, RECRUITadvantage is used daily by more than 7,000 recruitment consultants across 29 countries in 16 languages. Its clients range from small recruiting firms to Fortune500 companies and ASX100 multinationals.

Chief Executive Officer of News Digital Media’s Careers Division, Dr Stephen Hollings said, “This is an important milestone in our development. Our investment in RECRUITadvantage is part of a wider business development plan to expand our offering and identify opportunities that are natural extensions of existing assets.”

Today’s announcement follows News Digital Media’s acquisition of Learning Seat, a leading supplier of online training and compliance management solutions last yearand the re-launch of employment website, CareerOne.com.au in October 2007.“RECRUITadvantage is a well run and profitable business that has huge potential to rapidly grow its market share, both in Australia and internationally, through theinvestment News is making in the Careers Division.”

RECRUITadvantage will continue to operate separately to the News Digital Media. Chief Operating Officer of the Careers Division of News Digital Media, Michael Harvey and Strategy Development Director, David Stewart will join the RECRUITadvantage board, along with Jafeth Rodriguez, James Biady, David Baker and Narayana Rodriguez.
