moshtix launches allocated seating platform – MOSHTIX RESERVED

Electronic ticketing company, moshtix today launched a new platform MOSHTIX RESERVED, enabling it to sell tickets for allocated seating events.

Built around convenience, the moshtix ticketing system empowers event goers to purchase tickets instantly and with lower fees than other ticket providers.

To date, moshtix has sold tickets primarily for concerts, dance parties, festivals, comedy, film and outdoor cinema.

The launch of MOSHTIX RESERVED platform will give the company the capability to represent some of the largest events in Australia and extend its offering to a range of other markets, such as sport.

 Making the announcement at the One Movement for Music Conference in Perth, moshtix general manager, Adam McArthur said, “The ability to sell allocated seating is a huge leap forward - enabling us to handle any event, any venue, seated or standing.”

 “It’s a win-win for the event goer with the market getting more competitive. Previously venues and promoters haven’t had much choice for their ticketing needs, with inflexible, high-cost agencies at one end or low service software providers at the other.”

moshtix sells tickets through its website, via mobile phones, customer support line, and over 100 select retail outlets across Australia. moshtix has also developed both facebook and myspace applications to allow ticket sales through these social media platforms.
