Learning Seat expands into New Zealand

The chief executive officer of Learning Seat, Michael Solomon, today announced the company had entered the New Zealand market by signing Renaissance Corporation Limited to represent Learning Seat across New Zealand.

Under the agreement, Renaissance Corporation Limited will handle the sales and marketing of the Learning Seat products to New Zealand-based companies. Learning Seat will manage the technological development of the courses from Australia.

After announcing its partnership with leading Australian law firm Clayton Utz in May, Mr. Solomon today also announced that one of New Zealand’s leading commercial and technologically focused law firms and Clayton Utz affiliate, Simpson Grieson, has developed Learning Seat’s suite of compliance courses in New Zealand.

“Having recognised a need in the New Zealand market for a high-calibre online training and compliance management company, we intend to replicate our Australian success across the Tasman.” Mr Solomon said.

“Our business is cost-effective, flexible and efficient and our modules are designed to be adapted to any organisation. With such a qualified partner as Renaissance, I’m confident we will see great success in New Zealand.”

In Australia, Learning Seat boasts a clientele roster of leading industry, corporate and government organisations. Corporate clients include PepsiCo, Heinz (Watties Australian arm), Golden Circle, Nike, Philips and Quicksilver. Industry and government bodies include local councils and real estate, retail, recruitment and transport associations.

Paul Johnston, managing director of Renaissance Corporation Limited said that the New Zealand business market would welcome a company like Learning Seat.

“A business’ success is intrinsically linked to its employees’ skill set. Online training services ensure businesses are able to give their staff the right skills and knowledge to help a business thrive.

“We are excited to be representing the Learning Seat business in New Zealand. This is an untapped market for online training of this calibre and quality and we see huge potential and opportunity to see Learning Seat flourish here.”
